Grove Transit provides safe, reliable and affordable non-emergency transportation throughout the Greater Mississippi Pine Belt Region and surrounding areas. We equip our fleet with top of the line safety equipment and employ industry standard software to insure reliability and passenger safety. Our full-time Safety Manager performs daily inspections of drivers and their vehicles in the field, and we employ a full-time Fleet Manager responsible for maintaining and overseeing all service and maintenance of our vehicles and wheelchair lifts.
We are very proud to be a part of the Hattiesburg Area Development Partnership and the Picayune Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to many years of providing Safe, Reliable and Courteous transportation to folks throughout the Mississippi Pine Belt, and we are committed to providing the same level of service to all of our customers as we expand throughout Mississippi and neighboring states.
COMPANY HISTORY
Dan and Suzanne Reid formed Grove Transit in 2010 to meet the growing need for quality non-emergency transportation in the Hattiesburg area. We studied the demographic information and saw that South Mississippi, and in Hattiesburg, presented a unique opportunity with its rapidly growing Senior Citizen population, as well as the presence of world-class medical facilities. All of our research and analysis confirmed our belief that the Mississippi Pine Belt Area was ideally situated for us. Dan and Suzanne came to the conclusion that their best bet was to put Dan’s over thirty years of experience assisting young companies and management teams to work by forming a new company built on the core principles of safety, reliability and courtesy.

Our fleet consists of over 75 vehicles, with an average age of less than 5 years. We feature many fuel-efficient hybrid vehicles and offer the only privately-owned MV-1 vehicle built in the USA and designed specifically for upscale wheelchair transportation. All our vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking devices, cellphones and in-vehicle camera systems (currently only in wheelchair-enabled vehicles) to ensure a safe and timely arrival to your destination. We are adding new vehicles to our fleet everyday in order to meet our growing needs.

-English fluency required -
-Know MS Pine Belt roads
Pass 10-panel drug test. Certifications in Defensive Driving, First Aid & Wheelchair Securement required, we cover cost.
